Tanner Jones currently resides in Portland, Oregon where he is an active educator, designer, and arranger. His work, ranging from chamber music for the concert stage to movement for marching ensembles is being performed regularly throughout the United States.
 
As a specialist in pageantry design, Tanner’s work for the marching arts is steeped in nuance and rooted in strong orchestration that elevates your ensemble's presence on the field.  His roster of clients spans BOA regional finalists, WBA finalists, and State Marching Band Contest finalists across South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, and California. 
 
Tanner also has a long history of quality visual instruction. He began his pageantry career at Wakeland HS (TX) and was a DCI performer with The Cadets (2009-2011) and The Blue Devils (2013). Tanner would go on to work for multiple stand-out high school marching programs, drum corps, and indoor percussion programs across Texas and California. Most notably Tanner was the Visual Caption Head of the Blue Devils B Drum & Bugle Corps (2018-2021), The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps (2022), and POW Percussion (2022).
 
He studied at both Texas State University (Sound Recording Technology) and Texas A&M University - Commerce (Music Composition). He is an ASCAP artist, member of TMEA, and a proud dad to his dog Toby.

Tori Farias

Program Coordinator | Choreographer

Tori has been an educator, choreographer, and visual designer across the marching arts for over 10 years. As a performer Tori was a member of the Flanagan High School World Guard (2009-2012), the FIU Marching Band (2012-2014), Braddock Independent (2013), The Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps (2013-2015), Infinity Percussion (Visual Ensemble 2015), and Imbue Winterguard (2018). She was on the cast of Mix It Up! at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA (2016, 2017) as well as the Collabor8 and Illumin8 Dance Companies based out of Los Angeles, CA. As an educator, her previous work includes a wide range of training, choreographing, and creating shows for marching bands, color guards, drum corps. as well as indoor winds and percussion programs all across the country. Tori currently lives in Portland, OR. Outside of the marching arts she does work as a performing artist, yoga teacher, and fitness instructor.

Matt Penland

Percussion Arranger | Music Designer

Matt Penland is a percussion performer, educator, and arranger based out of Washington, D.C. where he is a percussionist in the U.S. Air Force Band. Matt is also on the instructional staff for The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps and arranges music for several marching percussion groups across the country, including Music City Drum Corps, Guardians Drum Corps and the Hawthorne Caballeros He was a section percussionist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before joining the Air Force, and was also a Music Academy of the West percussion fellow. Matt has taught private lessons to students ranging from beginners to collegiate level and is currently an instructor at the George Mason University Indoor Drumline and Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. As a rudimental percussionist he was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard, Phantom Regiment, Carolina Crown, and Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Matt earned a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of North Texas in 2012 and a Master of Music Performance degree from Northwestern University in 2015. His teachers included She-e Wu, Christopher Lamb, Vadim Karpinos, James Ross, Paul Rennick, Christopher Deane, and Mark Ford. Matt proudly endorses Innovative Percussion, Remo and Dynasty USA products.

Clark Cothran

Drill | Visual Designer

Clark Cothran is an active visual designer, choreographer, clinician, and educator in the marching arts. Clark has been blessed with many performing and teaching opportunities in the activity. As a quick summary, Clark has performed as a lead trumpet player with Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps and the Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, where he received numerous awards as a performer. During his last season as a performer, Clark served as Horn Sergeant of the Blue Devils for his age out year. The leadership, performing, and solo experiences in drum corps has allowed Clark to be an international performer/soloist and instructor in foreign countries such as Japan and Taiwan. Clark has had the pleasure of instructing, choreographing, and/or designing for several award-winning band programs in South Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Indiana. Recently, Clark’s main instructional priority has been Wando High School. The Wando Band is a consistent BOA Grand National Finalist and has earned 12 consecutive AAAAA SCBDA Marching Band Championships. Some of the other groups that he has worked with include Sebastian River High School (FL), Economedes High School (TX), River Bluff High School, Boiling Springs High School, and Nation Ford High School.

Noe Gomez

Drill | Visual Designer

Noe Gomez is a lifelong resident of Los Angeles, California and prolific educator and designer within the marching arts. He has over seven years of performance experience, including Impulse, Santa Clara Vanguard Cadets, and half of a decade with the Santa Clara Vanguard, where he served as drum major from 2012 to 2015. Noe is immersed in the upper echelons of the marching arts, as he is a full time visual designer, judge, and clinician for both high school bands and independent programs. Noe served on the visual staff and as Assistant Visual Caption head of the Santa Clara Vanguard as well as the Visual Design assistant for the Phantom Regiment. He is on the design teams at Pulse Percussion, Blue Knights, Arcadia High School and many more. Noe also serves as an advisor to the Color Guard Alliance of the Philippines and Impulso Marching Latino America. ​ As a designer, Noe prides himself on creating a cohesive visual package--one that is musically reflective, exciting, achievable, and fresh. He is passionate about cultivating a musical landscape that allows the performers to sound their best and integration that positively highlights the color guard. Noe upholds professionalism and communication as core elements of his work with all programs.
